SNP / InDel Laboratory Services - Sequence Submission Page
* please ensure you have checked your sequence is correct. Should you have homologous regions please contact Kbioscience directly before submitting sequence. KBiosciences takes no responsibility for submission of incorrect sequence
Please complete one of the four file types listed below and e-mail to:
orders@kbioscience.co.uk.
| Recommended option, please download from the link | |
| For automating your data handling with KBiosciences. | |
| For scientists who prefer the FASTA format | |
| For Mac users |
Order number
Please include your order number or your own unique project identifying reference
in the Email. Your purchasing department should supply you with an order number.
This reference or order number will be used to identify your project should
you have more than one with us.
Valid SNP ID names
Please use only alphanumerical (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), underscore (_)and dash (-) characters
for your SNP ID names. Other characters will be removed.
If you are using a KBiosciences panel, then just include the ID without the
sequence text.
Sequence information
KBiosciences requires sequence data supplied by you. This is to avoid any ambiguities
caused by different databases and to ensure that your SNP assays are designed
for the correct sequence.
If you are using a KBiosciences panel, then leave this blank.
Marking the SNP
Mark the SNP either by a forward slash e.g. A/G or by IUPAC codes.
More than one SNP
If more than one SNPs occur in a sequence then mark the SNP to genotype in square
brackets e.g. CTCA[A/G]GCTA or change the other SNPs to the letter N.
What if I don't have the sequences?
If you have a list of dbSNP rs, dbSNP ss or TSC IDs then please use one
of the following links to get your sequences;
Please select FASTA output and email the file to KBiosciences.
